Dynamic Success for First-ever RoboBusiness Europe 2013
European robotics has a new, annual business conference and networking platform
It’s just what European robotics needed: a fresh, new conference concept that digs deep into the finances, investments and business strategies of robotics and its associated industries.
The timing couldn’t have been better for the first-ever Robobusiness Europe, which is the re-styled, EU-energized edition of the US-based RoboBusiness Leadership Summit.
The missing ingredient: business
RoboBusiness: “It’s where robotics means business.” Attendees reacted positively to the format, content and networking approach offered at the event, with some calling it simply, “an intelligent conference with an exceptional difference—business!”
RoboBusiness Europe concluded in Genoa (11-12 April) after a two-day conference that offered an insider’s edge to the business opportunities and market advantages of the European and global robotics market with a special focus on 7th Framework Program projects from the European Union and a look towards and beyond Horizon 2020’s launch in January of 2014.
The perfect match
It’s the perfect match: Horizon 2020 mark’s the EC’s new Private-Public Partnership (PPP) initiative in bringing robotics to market and RoboBusiness Europe is the conference that specializes in how to do it.
Researchers, robotics companies, start up financial institutions were all in Genoa to learn, discuss and exchange ideas about robotics technologies and what is needed by both companies and institutions in the EC’s upcoming Private-Public Partnership (PPP) initiative.
With more than forty speakers from all over Europe presenting on topics ranging from industry, commerce and agriculture, surgical and healthcare, individual robotics, emergency response and dangerous environments, plus robot sub-systems, components and operating software, the RoboBusiness audience was presented with an insightful look-see into just what it is that Europe has in readiness for Horizon 2020.
The RoboBusiness Europe agenda was packed with on-point, insightful and actionable information delivered by some forty key robotics experts and leaders from business, industry, academia and high-tech investment firms (see speaker list).
